Initially unveiled in May, Xiaomi’s Mijia 621L Side-by-Side refrigerator has officially gone on sale in Germany. The appliance is currently available for €799, slightly below its €849 MSRP. Measuring 910 × 715 × 1,770 mm (W × D × H), the model targets buyers looking for a full-size appliance. The left-side freezer offers 236 liters of capacity, while the right-side refrigerator compartment provides 385 liters. This 621-liter total capacity significantly exceeds that of standard European fridge-freezer combos; for comparison, a conventional Samsung RL38C600CSA/EG offers a total of 390 liters.
The Mijia 621L carries an E energy efficiency rating, with an annual consumption of 342 kWh. At an electricity price of €0.30 per kWh, this results in yearly operating costs of roughly €100, which is relatively high but typical for this size class. While ice cube production is available, the lack of an external dispenser means users must open the freezer compartment to retrieve ice. Xiaomi highlights uniform cooling via a multi-directional airflow system alongside precise temperature control. The unit is capable of freezing up to 14 kg of food within 24 hours. A dual-inverter setup keeps operational noise at 35 dB, while smart features include voice control and app connectivity via Xiaomi Home. An integrated control panel allows for direct temperature adjustments. However, installation requires careful planning, as the doors open up to an angle of 120° and require sufficient side clearance
