UGREEN is probably best known around these parts for chargers, power banks, docks and NAS hardware, but the company has considerably bigger ambitions for the smart home.
At its Smart Living Launch Event in the US, UGREEN unveiled HomeAgent, its first AIoT ecosystem built around local storage, processing and smart home control. It also revealed the considerably more powerful MasterAgent MA100, a collection of cameras and other connected devices, and expanded its MagFlow charging range with what it claims is the world’s first liquid-cooled Qi2 25W magnetic power bank.
There’s quite a lot going on here, but the common theme is UGREEN attempting to move more of your smart home’s intelligence away from the cloud and back inside your house.
UGREEN HomeAgent puts AI and smart home control under one roof
The centrepiece is the UGREEN HomeAgent HA100, which combines on-device AI, local storage, security and smart home control in a single hub.
UGREEN says files, photos, surveillance footage and device activity can be stored and processed locally, without a monthly storage fee. Core storage, security, file management and smart home functions can also continue operating over the local network.
That’s an increasingly attractive proposition as our homes fill with cameras, sensors and other devices that traditionally depend heavily on somebody else’s cloud.
HomeAgent also introduces UGREEN’s Uliya voice assistant. Users can ask it to control supported devices, check their current status or previous events, and create notifications based on events such as a package being delivered or a baby crying.
There’s a healthy dose of AI involved too.
HomeAgent can recognise people, vehicles, pets and packages in camera footage, provide summaries of events and allow keyword searches through recordings. UGREEN says its AI can also identify potentially meaningful moments captured by cameras or stored in your photo library, automatically create highlight videos and display them on its UGREEN Gallery smart displays.
Importantly for anyone already invested in smart home gear, Matter support is part of the equation. HomeAgent can bring compatible devices together for local control, with users able to build automation scenes and coordinate multiple devices through voice requests.
The HomeAgent HA100 Pro steps things up with faster networking and additional AI performance, allowing more demanding workloads, deeper semantic understanding, voice-created rules and more context-aware device control.
MasterAgent MA100 brings some serious NVIDIA hardware
Then there’s the UGREEN MasterAgent MA100, which takes the local AI concept considerably further.
UGREEN says it’s the first agentic AI local hub powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Thor T5000, delivering up to 2,070 FP4 TFLOPS of local AI compute.
That’s not just a slightly faster smart home hub.
MasterAgent is intended to act as the central intelligence for a more heavily AI-driven home, capable of running larger models locally, understanding more complex context and intent, and coordinating multiple devices and tasks.
UGREEN also intends MasterAgent to be extensible, with developers able to create their own packages and skills.
The wider ecosystem announced alongside it includes the SynCare Indoor Cam ID500 Pro, SynCare PoE Cam OD600 Pro, SynCare Battery Cam OD800 Pro, a UGREEN Smart Speaker for Uliya and UGREEN Gallery smart displays.
It’s an ambitious first swing at AIoT from a company that, until relatively recently, most of us associated with the USB-C accessories sitting in our laptop bags.
Local-first doesn’t mean completely cloud-free
There is an important distinction worth making here.
UGREEN describes HomeAgent as a local-first platform rather than something entirely disconnected from the cloud.
Supported AI processing can happen locally on HomeAgent, and its core storage and smart home functions are designed to work across the local network. However, UGREEN notes that account registration and authentication, remote access, mobile notifications, software updates and optional cloud-enabled services may still require an internet connection or cloud services.
That’s not necessarily a problem, but it’s an important qualification when “local AI” and privacy are major parts of the pitch.
UGREEN MagFlow Pro puts liquid cooling in a power bank
UGREEN hasn’t forgotten about the accessories that built its name either.
The new UGREEN MagFlow Pro Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh 25W supports Qi2 25W wireless charging, but its more unusual feature is CryoPulse liquid cooling.
UGREEN claims it is the world’s first liquid-cooled Qi2 25W magnetic power bank. A micro-pump circulates coolant through the device to draw heat away from critical components, with a transparent “Cyber Window” providing a view of the cooling system in operation.
There’s also a display showing charging power, remaining battery level, cycle count and cooling status.
UGREEN says its testing with an iPhone 17 Pro Max at an ambient temperature of 77 degrees Fahrenheit — around 25 degrees Celsius — recorded peak temperatures up to 18 degrees Fahrenheit lower than its cited 118-degree industry benchmark, with temperature rise reduced by as much as 44 per cent. As always with manufacturer testing, real-world results will vary.
Alongside the power bank is the UGREEN MagFlow Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charging Stand 25W, combining Qi2 25W charging with TEC active cooling and a claimed 15dB fan. It can simultaneously charge an iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods.
The MagFlow 2-in-1 Foldable Magnetic Wireless Charger 25W rounds out the range with a more travel-friendly foldable design that can also serve as a magnetic phone stand.
Price and Australian availability
Pre-orders for the UGREEN HomeAgent HA100, HA100 Pro and MasterAgent MA100 open on 3 September through UGREEN’s AIoT store ahead of a Kickstarter campaign scheduled to launch on 27 October 2026. UGREEN says deposits will start at US$50, securing access to a Super Early Bird price advertised at 50 per cent off.
The MagFlow products have already launched in the US, with pricing of US$149.99 for the MagFlow Pro Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh 25W, US$159.99 for the MagFlow Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charging Stand 25W and US$59.99 for the MagFlow 2-in-1 Foldable Magnetic Wireless Charger 25W.
Those prices are US pricing. Australian pricing and local availability for the HomeAgent ecosystem, MasterAgent MA100 and new MagFlow products have not been confirmed at the time of writing.
UGREEN has also named New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez as its Global Brand Ambassador, extending an existing partnership between UGREEN and the NFL team.
For Australian readers, though, the far more interesting announcement is HomeAgent. UGREEN has already been pushing deeper into local storage with its NAS products, and combining that experience with Matter, surveillance and increasingly powerful local AI processing makes its move into the smart home one worth watching.
